5.0 "Well equipped apartment in a great location"

A really well managed apart hotel in a great location for visiting London. The neighbourhood has lots of lovely restaurants and pubs and it a short walk to the river. The Thames Clipper goes from the pier, giving great access to all the city and the metro is just next door. The team at the property is excellent, very welcoming and friendly and the apartments are well equipped and laid out. Would definitely come back.

1.8 "Terrible, stay away!"

I’m a Platinum elite with Marriott, and this is the worse Marriott property I’ve ever stayed in. Unfortunately the hotel wasn’t booked under my name and card this time, but what we got should never happen anyway. The room was dirty ,it was a lot of hair in the kitchen sink, dirty spots and smelled strong sewage - after a night in the room we felt sick. We complained and got a new room, still not very clean and with a terrible smell from the fridge, but better Not a single “I’m sorry “ or “ is it anything else we can do for you “ ....That’s not a way to treat guests ,and if house keeping can’t smell the way the first room smelled ,something is very wrong . The room itself feels like a cheap student apartment, not worth any money . The hotel is only 2,5 years old ,but doesn’t feel new at all . Breakfast felt crowded (with only few guests there at the time ),and not very good. Will never return or recommend this place ,do yourself a favor and choose another hotel

3.2 "Tried to throw us out"

Decent accommodation but utterly understaffed, and staff that are there were on relief, so untrained. We booked through Due to bad weather, we eventually got through to hotel to move the booking a day later for two nights. After the first night however the front desk staff insisted that we needed to move, even though we showed them we had changed the booking. They said they had double booked and needed to move. I refused and it got tense. The manager was called and the issue was resolved but left a bad feeling. The hotel has recently changed ownership and not sure if they are fully up to speed with Marriott policies. The breakfast was a joke. My son and I went to sit down and a lady screeched at us that we were about to take her table. We moved, no big deal. At the breakfast, they ran out of cups, knives and spoons as well as food. A joke

4.0 "Really nice"

This hotel was perfect for us as a jetlagged family travelling before Christmas. The rooms were really comfortable, well designed and well equipped. It has everything you would need for an extended trip including a spacious gym and laundry room. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It was nice to be in an area that was not particularly touristy, but a easy walk to loads of attractions, bus routes and underground. Also, loads a fabulous restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Highly recommend.

4.8 "A true sample of excellent hospitality: Miss Anne Iweibo!"

Without doubt Miss Anne Iweibo made our stay so much more pleasant! She was extremely friendly and very flexible for our sometimes inappropriate demands (we appreciate this!) and she deserves a special thank you. She always goes the extra length and she gave us a great feeling. She is such a warm personality and highly motivated and passionate about her job. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere Miss Anne Iweibo! is so special that it really felt like home to us. All respect for her and also her general manager Miss Ramona Dirlea who does a great job here. A true sample of excellent hospitality!

4.6 "Great budget hotel"

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as a short tourist break to london. There were 2 of us and we originally booked the studio apartment but after finding a cheaper price we switched for the one bedroom apartment, and thank god we did! They have done the best with the space they had and has a nice sofa, table, kitchenette and a decent size bathroom with a big shower. The problem was with the bedroom which had about 30cm of space between each side of the bed and the walls making it feel very small and enclosed and making it difficult to get in and out of bed, however the bed was extremely comfortable. The TV in the living room would not work and would turn itself on and off spontaneously, but as we had another TV in the bedroom and we had already unpacked we did not mention this. We also had a dodgy hairdryer but as soon as we informed reception they brought us a replacement straightaway. Breakfast is good and we were only expecting a small continental selection but they also had some form of hot food every day. If you look at this hotel on the surface it was very good, the rooms were stylish and modern and the staff were nice, however when you looked at the finer things you could tell things hadn't had a proper finish. For example there were scuffs all over the walls, and there were paint splatters everywhere. There was paint all over the floor and the table. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk to London Bridge Station and is surrounded by lots of lovely bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Overall, this stay was amazing and if you are looking for a budget hotel then this is ideal, there are just a few finishing touches that need doing but for the price you pay it is great!

4.8 "Thank you Stephan"

Stayed at this hotel last Saturday for 1 night for a friends hen do. The hotel it’s self is very nice and I would recommend it, but what made our stay so much nicer was a member of staff on the front desk, Stephan. What a lovely, kind and helpful guy he is. Thank you Stephan for looking after us you were so kind and helpful. I’m not one to usually write reviews but this time I felt I should as I feel Stephan deserves the recognition.

5.0 "Great hotel"

Great location and lovely staff - clean hotel and suite was a nice touch - breakfast included in the price which wasn’t too expensive for London rates - lots of pubs and restaurants walking distance and near to London Bridge underground system

5.0 "Excellent hotel"

Me and my partner stayed here for two nights Friday to Sunday. The hotel and room was lovely, very clean and modern, could not fault it at all! The staff on reception were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price, although there was only a small selection of hot food it was very tasty. The location is perfect if you are looking to travel around London, it is around a 10 minute walk to London Bridge station. Overall a great hotel, already looking to rebook here for our next trip to London!

4.8 "Good experience for the price"

For the price in London, it was a good stay. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from London Bridge station so location is quite convenient. The staff was very friendly and the room had the amenities we expected. Comfortable bed, enough electric points and usb ports and the kitchenette was decent too. However the suite and bathroom could have been cleaner. Door and skirting and area under the sofa bed hadn't been cleaned well. Bathroom had a few mouldy spots and the shower gel and shampoo hadnt been topped up. The coffee machine was missing but the reception sorted that in no time! Breakfast was basic but ok. The first day they seemed a bit short on staff but it was much better on Saturday morning. A bit inconsistent in stock though. Overall pleasant stay but better cleaning would have made it great
